We love getting out to some of our stockists and chatting to customers and helping them with their problems. We especially love it when we can introduce a customer to a product they haven’t used before which is really going to change their workflow and results.
Ken was at Brewers in Bletchley recently and was chatting to Stewart of Stewkley Decorating about Floetrol. Explaining that Floetrol water-based paint conditioner improves the flow and performance of water-based paints, Stewart decided to give it a go. We’re happy to report that he was impressed with the results and sent this response to Ken:
Good to meet you again & thanks for the Floetrol sample. After meeting you I mixed some with Bedec Aqua Advance and results, as you promised, were impressive. Flow was so much better, saving time, and the finish was greatly improved. I’ve since purchased 2.5 litres of both Floetrol & Emulsa Bond (had a great result with Dulux Diamond v/matt on bathroom bare plaster) from Brewers.
Floetrol is great for improving the finish of water-based paints. It helps to reduce brush and roller marks and maintains the wet edge allowing for improved flow and finish. It does this all without altering the inherent qualities and character of the paint.
If you’re looking for a paint conditioner for oil-based paints then Owatrol Oil achieves the same results for these coatings as Floetrol does for water-based paints.
Thanks to Stewart for sharing his experiences, you can check out more info about him on his website for Stewkley Decorating.
