Compo-Clean is our water-based cleaner and degreaser which is suitable for use on all exterior composite wood surfaces.

It is a water-based coating designed specifically for reviving all types of exterior composite wood. It creates a waterproof protection for the surface whilst also protecting it from stains.
Compo-Care gives a matt-matt sheen finish and is a transparent tinted coating – it’s currently available in grey and brown.

I wonder if you could help me please. Some years ago I had an exterior door fitted by Anglia which to me is not a plastic Upvc but it looks like more Composite material.
Its colour has faded and looks sad and patchy . I would like to restore its colour but I am not sure whether I can use Polytrol colour restorer. My Painter and decorater is not sure either. I have been advised to use a Primer and then paint it but I have read that doors made from composite should not be painted.
I have read a few reviews and some people have used this product and are pleased with the result. If I can use this product on my composite door, should the door be cleaned first with a special product and then used the colour restorer? please advice. thank you very much for your kind help and cooperation.

Polytrol will be suitable for reviving the colour and shine of your composite door.
Before application, you would need to clean the surface thoroughly with warm soapy water or Net-Trol (https://www.owatroldirect.co.uk/product/net-trol/).
Then be sure to rinse thoroughly and allow to dry a minimum of 24 hours.
Polytrol usually can last for 24 months+ before re-application is necessary. It depends on the sunlight, rain and pollution in which it is subjected to (i.e living near to the sea may mean an earlier re-application of Polytrol is necessary as it is subjected to a harsher environment).
