We’re super excited to be showing you the new website, it’s been in the workings since Autumn of last year and it’s now ready to unleash! There’s a whole heap of new features and changes to make ordering easier and help and advice easier to find. We’re going to run through our 5 favourite features of the new site:
1. New and improved Help & Advice section
It’s now a lot easier to find help and advice for a whole range of problems you might be encountering – from figuring out how to strip your decking to how to deal with the mould patch in your bathroom. Our new Help and Advice section is clearly structured and is packed with helpful guides, inspiring case studies and great before and after shots as well as all the latest Owatrol news. If you’re looking for help with a problem or you need some inspiration it’s a great place to browse.
2. User-friendly Woodcare category pages
Our new categories help to narrow down your product options by thinking about your project first – whether that be your decking, your summerhouse or your garden furniture. We’ve created pages focused on what you’re trying to protect and supported you with relevant case studies and guides right on the category pages. Now, if you’re looking for woodcare products rather than being baffled by the whole Owatrol range you can focus in on products relevant to what you’re trying to do.
3. Re-structured product page with important information at a glance
We have restructured the product pages to give you key information more quickly. We’ve given you an ‘at a glance’ run-down of the product first so you can get a good idea of what the product does without having to read a lot of text. If you’re after more information it’s all there in the product description and there are full directions for use too so you know exactly what you’re going to need to do when the product arrives.
We have also pulled out the important technical information like drying time and suitable surfaces and put all this into an easy to read table for reference. If you’re really keen or you’re looking for advice and inspiration, we’ve even given you case studies and guides relevant to each product right on the product page too.
4. Get exactly the right amount with our new coverage calculators
We’ve added a handy coverage calculator to all products that are appropriate for one so you just need to input the dimensions of the area you want to cover (height and width) and the calculator will let you know exactly how much you’ll need to buy.
5. Streamlined checkout process making ordering super easy
We’ve streamlined our basket and checkout process to make your experience with purchasing much easier. We’ve made sure there are as few fields to fill in as possible with our dynamic address finder. We have also worked hard on our mobile and tablet checkout process to make ordering on the go easy too.
