A few years ago, we teamed up with an amazing company named Smart Garden Offices.
Smart Garden Offices design, manufacture and install a broad range of purpose-built garden offices and buildings. They create the buildings in their own factory and to the very highest of standards. Their aim is to create the most comfortable, attractive and long lasting garden offices available.
So as you can imagine, when we were given the opportunity to work with them, we were a little bit excited to say the least!
We would like to showcase some of what we think are their most amazing offices, so to start off with we want to show you the Suffolk Barn Quinto.
This beautiful Suffolk Barn Quinto with cantilever roof and deck is finished in Owatrol SCS (solid colour stain) in the colour Sea Foam Green. However, if Sea Foam Green is not to your liking, we have 35 other shades to choose from!
We think it looks absolutely gorgeous and fits in beautifully with the aesthetics of the other buildings that surround it.
One of the main reasons that Smart Garden Offices have chosen to use SCS to finish their offices, is that it offers the best longevity possible.
SCS is a strong robust finish that will stay looking clean and fresh for many years to come. So much so that it’s guaranteed against peeling or flaking for 5 years on horizontal surfaces and 15 years on vertical surfaces.
To Apply SCS
Application of SCS is very easy. However, depending on what state your wood is in will determine how you should treat it before application. Please refer to the product page and select the “directions for use” tab where you will find what you need to do before applying.
Once your wood is ready for application, simply apply a coat of SCS across the surface and then allow it to dry for 3 – 4 hours.
Once it is dry, apply and second coat and then you’re done! – we told you it was easy!
Maintenance with SCS is minimal. However, areas that will receive harsh weather or heavy traffic may wear more quickly than other areas. If this happens, simply clean with Net-Trol and then re-coat as necessary.
