    Protect porous surfaces against mechanical and chemical damage.

Used this varnish on the cast iron base of an industrial table we were going to use outside as a potting table. The base was in fair condition but with a number of smooth rust patches.
We first used the Owatrol Oil to condition the metal, then applied one coat of this varnish to seal the metal and give it a bit more protection outdoors.

Together, they gave the metal a clean satin finish while preserving all of the original character. Easy to apply and clean up afterwards. Great product!
