A very relieved customer sent us this email after using our biodegradable colour restorer Net-Trol to rescue his new patio:
Just a note to say how delighted I was with Net-trol and the results were amazing. The rust stains came out completely! As you know I had tried umpteen different chemicals and solutions but only Net-trol worked.
It was a huge relief to my wife and I as we had just spent £6000.00 on the stone and having it laid. I only applied the grass treatment 2 days before the patio was to be sealed!!
Once again many thanks to you.
Kind Regards,
David
David initially contacted us after trying many other products in an attempt to remove rust stains from his sandstone paving caused by metal furniture left on the slabs whilst he treated his lawn with anti-fungicide. Having spent a lot of money on his new patio he was understandably anxious to find something that would remove the stains.

We suggested that he used Net-Trol which as well as restoring colour to weathered wood can also remove rust stains from stone and cement. It is perfect for use in the garden as it’s harmless to plants and shrubs and is quick and easy to use.
How to apply Net-Trol
First, wet the surface with clean water, then apply Net-Trol with a synthetic brush or long pile roller and agitate the surface with the brush.
Leave to stand for 10-20 minutes and then scrub with a stiff brush or use a pressure washer to remove.
Repeat the process for particularly tough stains.
As you can see, the patio looks great and David was able to look his wife in the eye again!

thanks for helpful response.
Hi,
I applied a diluted Net-trol / Water 1:4 solution to slightly greyed Jatoba wood decking. It appears to have left a white residue. I applied to solution to the deck whilst misting to keep moist for 20 minutes and then thoroughly washed with a pressure washer.
Any advice?
Hi there Julian,
This is most strange – can I please ask that you send some images along with the above mentioned application details to: tech@owatroluk.com
Thank you in advance,

Hi there, would this help remove a rust stain on rough casting? Caused by an upstairs boiler outlet pipe and the rusty water has run down the side of the building!
Hi there Fiona,
I believe a member of staff has already spoken with you but just to reiterate – we would recommend purchasing a sample of Net-Trol and testing it out on a small area: https://www.owatroldirect.co.uk/product/net-trol/
Do let us know if you have any further queries.
All the best,
The Owatrol Team
