Solid Colour Stain used on micro Smart Garden Offices

We are pleased to share with you some more amazing spaces made by our friends over at Smart Garden Offices.

Today, we wanted to focus on the smaller projects they make. However, just because they are small in size, certainly does not mean that they are small in character.

Smart Garden Offices offer ‘Micro’ spaces that are as small as 7 foot by 7 foot (2.1 metres by 2.1 metres) which is the perfect amount of room for those who just need space for a home office or perhaps a sewing machine for your craft work – It’s a perfect solution for people who need space, but just not a lot of it!

We think these Micro spaces are fantastic and look beautiful when finished with our SCS (Solid Colour Stain)

Smart Garden Offices decided to use Owatrol SCS to finish their spaces because it has a robust finish that will stay looking new for years to come. We believe in the quality of SCS so it’s guaranteed against peeling or flaking on horizontal surfaces for 5 years and on vertical surfaces for 15 years.

The Micro Smart Garden Office pictured above is finished in SCS in the colour Light Blue. We think it looks amazing. The eye catching blue colour really stands out within this minimalistic garden.

To Apply SCS

Applying SCS is very easy, however, before you start the application you need to treat your wood . Depending on the state your wood is in will determine what you will need to do before you begin. Please refer to the SCS product page and select the “directions for use” tab where you can find what you need to do to your wood before applying SCS.

Once your wood is ready for application, apply 1 coat of SCS across the surface and then allow it to dry for 3 – 4 hours. Once the first coat has dried, simply apply a second and allow it to dry. How easy was that?

Maintenance with SCS is very low. However, areas that will receive harsh weather or heavy traffic may wear faster than other areas. If this happens, simply clean the surface with Net-Trol and then re-apply the SCS as necessary.
