I’ve used the Solid Colour Stain for years in some pretty exposed situations on the west coast of Scotland. On fresh cut larch poles the Butinox stain, that I [previously] used, flaked off after a couple of years, but the SCS, which I subsequently applied, is still looking good 10 years later, flexing with the timber and not flaking at all. Garden furniture, cladding, windows, concrete steps – all have been painted with SCS, it really is that good.
